What Is Tire Rack Street Survival?
The Tire Rack Street Survival School is a safe teen driving program designed to go beyond today’s required driver’s education minimums and give teens across the U.S. the driving tools and hands-on experience they need to become safer, smarter drivers. Schools are designed to give each student trained, qualified in-car driving instruction as well as valuable classroom experience. They will learn to control their car in unpredictable situations based on its handling limits, and how to make good driving decisions and react more quickly. They become more aware and learn how to begin anticipating the actions of other drivers.
Coaches/Instructors Needed!
We need your help! Tire Rack Street Survival is a volunteer-based program. All of our coaches and event help are volunteering their time. If you’d like to be a coach and instruct, you can take the online course here to become certified. http://streetsurvival.org/schools/become-a-coach/. The mission of TRSS is to save teen lives through safe driving. Your participation as a coach will help in doing just that, and help make our community a better and safer place.
Where and When?
Our first event will be held on November 3, 2018, at Lancaster County Training Center. This venue has both the classroom and course facilities the program needs to provide both areas of education for the teen drivers.
