Car numbers and class information must be displayed on both sides of the car during competition runs. Numbers and letters conforming to Section 3.7 of the SCCA Solo Rulebook are highly recommended (8” high numbers, 4” high class identification). In the event that your vehicle already has painted or other permanent numbers that do not reflect your number and/or class, they must be covered or crossed out. Regardless of which numbers you use, make sure to place them on your car before going through tech inspection. The Tech Chief and/or Solo Chair have final say in determining whether identification is appropriate.

Interested in Autocross School and practice. First season several races (5 events in Ford) under my belt competing as a novice in now class CAM-C. Currently in Central Pennsylvania Region. I drive a 2020 Mustang Bullitt Dark Highland Green. Need practice and more time. CPR does not have driving school. Need to hone on my lines and of course not hitting the cones or DNF. Take curves too wide and to short at times. Don’t know when to take it hard or light to certain elements, where I lose time. Sometimes I look ahead for the element up and miss the element in front of me, lack of concentration. I find myself much better when a hard fast rock song comes on. I let loose and this confidence comes driving to the tune with no cones hit or DNF. Example: A course set were top racers were in the 37 and 38 range. I got a 45 driving by myself with AC/DC ‘Let There Be Rock’ cranked on stereo. When no music or no passenger 2-4 seconds slower with cones hit and DNF. I would like to learn and refine. Practice is the key for me. Let me know.
