RE’s Report — Mauro

Treasurer’s Report — Lesher

  • Expenses all taken care of

Membership Committee Report — Greg

  • 10 new members, 514 total
  • No minutes from May-July 2024 – cause broken website perhaps?

Club Communication

  • Squeal report – Limm
    • April issue: 54% open rate, 2.7% CTR, sent to 1,035
  • Website missing events calendar – Andy 2 has login
    • Setup Venmo with bank account info – pay with QR code sign
    • Andy 2 looking into Kiosk
  • All supps/rules need updated
  • Facebook report – Felty
    • RX: 9 new approved, 4 declined, 1,506 total
    • 21 new approved, 12 declined, 2,667 total, 1% growth

Autocross Committee Report — Benfer/McGahen/Springer

  • Reach out to Corvair group with course/lots – to assist with timing/cones/etc. (for June of 2026) could combine with test & tune
  • May event went smooth, people loved the course
    • 1 incident, person fine, no damage to lot
    • Need to figure out a remedy for what to do with cars that are no longer moveable during a run – we currently have no equipment of our own to get car off course (wheel skates/dolly, jack, etc.? to keep on truck)
    • Jared’s motion passes with 5 votes to purchase two wheel dollies for ~$400
    • Amend motion to $600, passes
    • Markus will purchase from Harbor Freight and store in truck – email everyone where it’s located
    • Event was done at a good time with no problems
  • Last weekend’s DC ProSolo – 20 members, 5 first-time ProSolo attendees, 4 trophy winners:
    • Justin Peachey
    • Jordyn Paul
    • Jason Harnish
    • Rob Springer
  • Alex Pankiw – able to get 3 cars running on course at the same time over overall quicker event
  • Had a short lunch break
  • Tia Cover / Chris Hyde – need to submit paperwork for safety steward
  • John Hartung / Jason Winstel also training for safety, just need one more event
  • Need more printed waivers during events – Melissa will print 100 more
    • Keep announcing at drivers meeting, emphasize importance of weekend membership
  • Trash run review when event was over – none!
  • 129 cars during AM / 95 cars during PM and still done by 4:30
  • Post event surveys
    • Overall positive feedback, tech went well, course length of 40-60 seconds is good
    • Negative – long heat lengths
  • 8 Shelby club people signed up (some in H street, over a few classes)

Rallycross Committee Report Report — Roscinski 

  • Review of points event #2
    • 39 competitors, some walk ups, someone from MA!
    • Course with water splash was fun element
    • Things went smoothly, drivers got 9 runs each
    • Timing was still stuck on autocross timing initially but got fixed
  • Venue search update
    • New venue!
      • Few acres with rolling hills
      • Potential July event? Drafting a contract
      • Tell Farm Show we need to postpone event
      • Markus posted year points on website – could possibly pull report with cone count

Scavenger Road Rally Report — Chilcote

  • No news is good news

Club Truck

  • Good to go
  • Place where truck is stored – goes in front of church on the street on Sat/Sun
  • If you take truck back Saturday after event, park on street not in the lot

Old Business

  • T-Shirts ready for next event – need to coordinate pickup

New Business

  • Cards with event schedule/QR code to MSR for handing out
    • Motion carries to spend less than $100 on cards – Natalie will design
  • Vintage car club event – put events on MSR on their behalf (use their logo, etc, add in details “you’ll see a charge from Susquehanna Club, etc.)
    • Their club to create document of understanding somewhere so we have history of what region/club agrees to
    • Set event to private but still has link
    • Group has meeting next week to discuss event
    • Usually 3rd weekend in September
    • Alan keep Melissa posted after next week’s meeting
  • Tom Carroll reached out to Jared – he got DC ProSolo to happen, signed contracts, etc.
    • Offered to get Hershey venue back
