August 2022 Membership Meeting

SCCA – Susquehanna Region

• Meeting called to order on Aug 25, 2022 at 7:25pm
• Minutes from the July meeting were approved as posted
• RE Report: Melissa Mauro
  • No new report
• Treasurer’s Report: Alan Lesher
  • Autocross, Rallycross, RallySprint, membership & sponsorship income, distribution, and YTD figures were reviewed.
• Membership report: Greg Szczyrbak
  • Susquehanna has gained 87 new region members since January
  • 11 members added in July
  • Total membership is 481 members
• Communication Report – Website and Squeal: Jake Limm
  • For the Squeal, there was slightly over 44.5% open rate, a little under 3% click through rate.
  • Website is fixed
• Facebook update
  • No new report
• Autocross Report: Melissa Mauro
  • Last events went smoothly.
  • Modified scooter rules to allow them paddock when course is hot
  • May gain a few more safety stewards
• Rallycross: John Roscinski
  • Event had 40 competitors
  • Weather was cooperative but there was a lot of dust. Overall, the event ran well
  • There are a few new venues to explore. Will work on this over coming months
• RallySprint: Adam Moore
  • Last RallySprint was cancelled, due to low competitor numbers and weather forecast
    • Porta-John fee was still charged because it was too close to event
  • Six competitors are registered for the next upcoming event. At this time, the event is a go.
  • Discussion about potential to wash Club Truck after RallySprint events ensued
• Road Rally: Mike Chilcote
  • Scavenger Hunt Road Rally
    • It is set up in MSR-it is completely ready for registration
    • Event will be based on Jason Felty’s property in Perry County

  • Shirt pricing -Still no news on shirts
• New Business
  • Club Truck – Starter was replaced by Rob, all is good now.
