February 2023 Membership Meeting

SCCA – Susquehanna Region

• Meeting called to order on Feb 23, 2023 at 7:04pm
• Minutes from the January meeting were approved as posted
• Treasurer’s Report: Alan Lesher
  • Autocross, Rallycross, RallySprint, membership & sponsorship income, distribution, and YTD figures were reviewed.
  • Further budget details to be discussed during the planning meeting

• Membership report: Mike Chilcote
  • Total membership is 476 members
  • New since last meeting: 6

• Communication Report – Website and Squeal: Jake Limm
  • Website traffic is down from last month, as expected
  • The Squeal had 46.78% open rate & 3.27% click through
  • Working on the records for 2022

• Facebook update: Jason Felty
  • For the main Facebook group we had:
    • 20 approved
    • 9 declined
  • For the rallycross group we had:
    • 14 approved
    • 12 declined
    • 5 banned (the banned profiles were scammers)
  • Both Facebook groups are trending 1% growth

• Autocross Report: Melissa Mauro
  • Setting the planning meeting up to finalize dates and go through 2023 program details.

• Rallycross Report: John Roscinski
  • Rallycross Chiefs recently held a planning meeting
  • Will review supplemental rules and try to mirror the autocross supps on some items
  • At this time we are still waiting for farm show to respond about available dates

• Road Rally: Mike Chilcote
  • This event will serve as the club’s season opener, and include a cookout
  • Planned for April 1, 2023
  • Just posted to MotorsportsReg and sanction is approved
  • Pretty much have the waypoints specific for this route completed, but some details still need to be worked out

• Old business
  • Bylaw revisions – Melissa asked if any board member have concern about current bylaws
    • No board members expressed concerns about bylaws as written
  • Melissa will set up a planning meeting for the club soon

• New Business
  • Board voted with unanimous approval to approve current Regional Executive to sign contacts and/or execute agreements on behalf of the Board
