March 2024 Membership Meeting

SCCA – Susquehanna Region

• Meeting called to order on March 27, 2024 at 6:59pm
• Minutes from the February meeting were approved as posted
• RE Report:
  • Hanover Auto Group, Bring It Garage, and Kassel Performance paid as sponsors.

• Treasurer’s Report: Alan Lesher
  • Autocross, Rallycross, membership & sponsorship income, distribution, and YTD figures were reviewed.

• Membership report: Greg Szczyrbak
  • 22 new members since last meeting
  • Total membership is 497 total members

• Communication Report – Website and Squeal: Jake Limm
  • Squeal
    • 507 emails out of 960 were delivered and opened, 52.4% open rate.
    • 93 recipients clicked through 9.6% click-through rate
    • There is currently no way to sign up for the squeal on the website. Will need to look into this and figure out how people can sign up.
  • Website
    • In Feb we had an uptick in website users again, 23.9% increase in website use over last month
    • More engagement on the website about when will events occur and entry level questions about how to participate in events, etc

• Facebook update: Jason Felty
  • Rallycross facebook page: 14 new approved members, 40 declined
  • Main club facebook page: 17 new approved members, 8 declined
    • Both pages were around 1% growth

• Autocross Report: Melissa Mauro
  • Autocross and Rallycross planning meeting was Monday
    • Chris Benfer is replacing Chris Brown as an Autocross Chair
    • Street Prepared, Prepared, and Modified will all be together in a class due to low participation
    • Pro-class – survey will go out at the end of the year to see if trophies are needed after 3rd place. Will work to gather opinions if only places 1 2 and 3 get trophies.
  • AX will do school and test/tune but it will be same date as a RallyCross event

• Rallycross Report: John Roscinski
  • 6 events this season
    • As of today, 6 people signed up for the school, 22 participants signed up for the first event
  • Heather Beierach is starting as Social Media Marketing Chief
  • Supps will be updated to allow UTV participants by invitation only

• Road Rally: Mike Chilcote
  • No updates

• Old business
  • Banquet
    • At the event, we are only allowed 5 hours there. Will need to remember this for the future.
    • Feb 22 2025 will be the banquet date. Location will be the same as 2024 banquet.
  • Bylaws revisions –
    • No comments or revisions were suggested. Bylaws will remain the same.
  • Truck Clean Out Day
    • April 6 will be clean out day.

• New business
  • Club truck needs to be inspected.
