February 2024 Membership Meeting
SCCA – Susquehanna Region
- Meeting called to order on February 22, 2023 at 7:07pm
- Minutes from the January meeting were approved as posted
- RE Report:
- Hanover Auto Group will be title sponsor for both AutoCross and RallyCross programs. Luke Morgan (Sales Manager at Hanover Toyota) mentioned that he would like to help find additional venues as well as round up other sponsors for the club.
- Melissa will work to get Hanover Auto Group and other sponsors the sponsor packets they need to proceed

- Total membership is 478 total members
- Communication Report – Website and Squeal: Jake Limm
- Squeal
- January edition of the Squeal had over 50% open rate, 6.25% click through
- 960 emails were delivered

- In Jan we had an uptick in website users again, 37.4% increase in website use over last month
- Event calendar section of website is very popular right now
- Changing website hosts is still on the backburner because the website isn’t current broken and is a low priority

- Rallycross facebook page: 12 new approved members, 5 declined, 1414 total members
- Main club facebook page: 16 new approved members, 5 declined, 2370 members
- Both pages were around 1% growth

- Melissa received autocross (and RallyCross) dates from Farm Show
- 11 points events plus a match tour planned for AutoCross
- April 27, May 18, June 15, July 6, August 17, Sept 21, and Oct 26
- Dates will be announced at the annual banquet
- Returning to the Farm Show main lot was discussed and may be a possibility in the future.
- Chris Brown will not be returning as AutoCross Chair this year, so club is recruiting to replace Chris.
- Melissa received autocross (and RallyCross) dates from Farm Show
- Rallycross Report: John Roscinski
- Event dates April 13-14, May 18, June 22, August 3, September 28, October 19.
- We may have a conflict with National Championship event date for October 19, but John will submit the sanction and see what happens
- Eric Ford will be the new Safety Chief in addition to being the Worker Chief

- Road Rally: Mike Chilcote
- We plan to do another scavenger hunt style Road Rally in Fall 2024 similar to last year.
- The next event will be based out of Franklin County.

- After this meeting, volunteers will help Melissa organize trophies and jackets

- Jake and Natalie Limm have done a great job pulling pictures and creating the banquet brochure again this year
- Melissa will forward bylaws revisions for the Board to consider for the next week

- Jake and Natalie Limm and Melissa have been discussing the possibility to do a memorial decal for in Tom Hamm’s memory
- The club wold like to produce and sell this sticker for donations to support ALS research
- This will be announced at the banquet
